History

Established in 1998.

Perfect Fit was Established in 1998 by The Owner Sara Burrows.

Sara gained her Experience working at Samuel Coopers after leaving School in 1986. Then Taking Over the Alterations ‘work room’ at Sara’s (Hewletts) in St Annes Square Manchester at the age of 18, after several yrs Sara Left that position and worked from home as she brought up her Family.

In 1997 she went back to work … At Kendal’s (House of Fraser) Manchester… In 1998 Sara decided to bring to her home town of Ashton a new Kind of Service. An Alterations Shop with Fitting Cubicles for Private Fittings in a friendly and Proffesional Service. Soon After Opening and establishing the Servce within the community and the local Retail Shops it became evident Sara also needed Staff… Over the years Sara has Trained her Staff (Even though they had certain experience within The Maching Industry.) to the standard she herself expects and requires for Customers Happiness/​Satisfaction…

This Pic is Me and My Daughter. Naomi, She also Joined Perfect Fit when she left school in 2008. After several Yrs in College whilst working Part Time for me, she then Realised her Calling was… Clothing Alterations… She’s Done so well over the yrs and is gaining Hands on Experience on a daily basis. And is so Confident. Im very Proud of her and her genuine Interest in Perfect Fit, The Business and The Customer Base we have.

I Guess she’s witnessed my pleasure in my work through out her childhood and learnt from that the importance to Enjoy your work and take Pride in all you do. Im very Creative and have an excellent eye where clothing and people wearing them are concerned… and in my job that is such a bonus. its not just about a new Zip or shortening a pair of jeans. We go to all length to Advise, Suggest and discuss our customers wishes. All detail is replaced to give the appearence that no Alteration’s have even been done at all. i must say i get great Job satisfaction.
