This is the best fish and chip shop around. The fish is fresh and large and cooked in lovely crispy batter. The chips and crispy and tasty and portions are generous. The service is good too, you have to wait a bit, but only becuase they cook everything fresh as it is ordered — which can’t be a bad thing. They also serve pies, sausages and various sauces. It’s about £7 for 2 portions of fish and chips. The opening hours are limited — they shut at 6.30pm most days and aren’t open a weekends — I guess it’s testament to their success that they can work the hours they want. Just drive past the smell is amazing
