Sushi To Go

This is in the Arndale Market, but not with the rest of the food. It’s over near the phones/​nails etc. I went for lunch today and it’s a really simple set up, I was able to choose a ready made box of sushi from the fridge. I’m not sure if they also make it to order.
For £5.50 I was able to get a box with quite a lot of sushi in it. I chose a mixed selection so got salmon, prawn, beef, chicken, and vegetable options such as avocado. This came with the usual suspects of wasabi, pickled ginger, soy sauce and edamame. Also for reasons unknown there was a cherry tomato and some salad leaves, which while not unpleasant were not really necessary.
The sushi was really tasty. Not the best I’d had but great for a quick and affordable lunch. The salmon in particular tasted very fresh and delicious, and the avocado was perfectly ripe making it taste very indulgent.
The large box was actually quite a lot of food for me at lunch (though I bravely battled through it) so you could probably get away with a smaller box if you have a modest option (which I think are around £4).
Overall I think this is a great addition to the Arndale Market and to my lunchtime roster.
