Specialties
Welcome to Evolution Physio Ballyclare, we offer high quality tailored physiotherapy and sports injury treatments provided at our comfortable clinic on Ballyclare Main Street. We specialise in treating and preventing pain and injuries to help you recover and maintain your fit and healthy lifestyle.
Evolution Physiotherapy offers modern evidence based hands-on Physio and Sports Injury treatment followed by specific Rehabilitation Exercises. This involves using clinical skills and experience to work on releasing any tension in the muscles and joints that may be causing your problem. The Rehab that follows ensures that you can get back to moving normally and helps prevent any problems recurring. We won’t stick you on a machine for 20 minutes, while we disappear to treat someone else. We aim to provide a professional service with our clients as the primary focus.
As far as our ethos is concerned, we believe that life is complicated enough and as impressive as long words sound we don’t want to overcomplicate life with unnecessary medical terms. Evolution Physiotherapy offers modern evidence based hands-on treatment. You will be assessed, diagnosed and have the problem explained. Then we will get to work on releasing any tension in the muscles and joints that have been causing your problems. When you are moving better with less pain we’ll start your rehab program. This is essential so that the muscles are re-trained on how to sit, stand and move correctly.
History
Established in 2011.
Evolution Physiotherapy and Sports Injuries Clinic was established on Ballyclare Main Street in 2011 by Lead Physiotherapist Steven Hanley, with Associate Physiotherapist Nicola McCormick joining the clinic in 2013. Our therapists’ primary aim is to provide high quality local physiotherapy treatment for the people of Ballyclare, Larne, Carrickfergus, Glengormley and Antrim and the surrounding villages.
The clinic is situated at the bottom of Ballyclare town beside the six mile river and opposite the Methodist Church. It is on the first floor above Paw Prints Dog Grooming and as such there is one flight of stairs to negotiate. Anyone with mobility problems should phone in advance to arrange extra help with the stairs or to discuss the feasibility of a home visit.
