Creative Cakes

After watching ‘Kirsty’s Homemade Christmas’ or some such nonsense, I got it into my head that I was going make our Christmas cake, rather than buying it. Now, it turned out horribly, didn’t look anything like Kirstys masterpiece and no-​one would bloody well eat it. However, that said — a bad workman always blames his tools, but I couldn’t because the supplies and items I got here were great, and not over-​priced. I had everything I needed at my fingertips for making a cake or baking in general — they even hire out cake tins shaped like numbers so you can make a cake for someones birthday in the shape of their age — very smart. They have icings, and edible glitter and all things creative for cakes — hence the name. They also make cakes too — and there were some outstanding examples of their work in the window. There aren’t many places to get this sort of thing in Belfast so I would suggest cake/​baking enthusiasts or novices go here for all their cake decorating needs.

This is a really excellent shop for accessories for baking buns and cakes. It has a nice selection of candles for cakes, muffin cakes and cookie cutters.
It also hires display units for cakes and make cakes for weddings and birthdays.

I am sure you can find some of the stock online but it saves on postage and packing to buy in the shop and is alos fun to browse.
