Alphablocks Nursery School & Pre-​Prep in Hadley Wood provides outstanding education to children aged two and a half to six years old. We empower children to become confident learners in a safe and stimulating environment, tailoring the learning journey of each child to its individual strengths and interests. We serve the local communities of Hadley Wood, Potters Bar, Cockfosters, High Barnet, Totteridge and Whetstone.

History

Established in 2015.

The School was founded in 2015 with a clear vision on its educational approach. The school’s has been working in the field of Early Years Education for over fifteen years and her primary goal is to help parents and teachers tune in to their children’s development and learning. She is wholly committed to the idea that a child should be provided with a carefully planned environment (either physical or emotional), wherein the child can grow unobstructed and develop key skills, shaping its attitude towards lifelong learning.

Meet the Business Owner

Alexandra S.

Business Owner

Alexandra, the School’s Director & Owner, has worked in the early years education sector for over 15 years, starting out as a teacher and progressing to become Manager and then Head of Group and Quality Improvement Adviser for a group of nurseries. She has worked for over ten years as an Early Years Adviser in a Central London local authority, as an Inspector of Early Years settings for Ofsted across London, and as consultant for numerous nursery schools and pre-​prep schools. She’s a mum of two young children, and has experienced first-​hand the challenges of finding reliable high-​end early years educational provision. She founded Alphablocks Nursery School & Pre-​Prep in the knowledge that individualized early education, which prepares children for primary school and beyond, is an absolutely essential and enjoyable part of children’s lives.
