Emma P.

Business Owner

From an early age Emma had a passion for music and had lessons on both keyboard and guitar. She started writing songs and music using a 4-​track and now writes using Protools, Cubase and Reason.

She played guitar, keyboards and bass in various rock bands and did a Degree in Creative Music Technology. During her Degree she built up a portfolio of high quality compositions, recorded a 40 piece male voice choir, learned how to author CD-​ROMS and websites, learned how to fix and upgrade her PC and got her first taste of teaching.

She then worked at a City Learing Centre in Rotherham where she honed her computer skills on both PC and Mac, designed a Database and delivered various creative projects to Primary and Secondary School Pupils and Adult Learners.

This led to a job as a Music Worker with Barnsley YMCA where she helps to develop and deliver Tarn Rocks, Arts Award, Songwriting, Recording, Production and Performance activities with children and young people.
