Laser guns are awesome! No question about it. Now what if you could go to a place to have laser gunfights with your friends? Sounds good doesn’t it? Well look no further as Quasar down Barry Island offers just this. Prepare for heart pumping laser-​shooting fun!
First of all I though that this was only a place for children. But not so long ago I went to a 21^st birthday and I can honestly say it was the most fun I had at a birthday party. I felt like a child again getting excited running around shooting lasers in a dark room with the glow of neon lights and ultraviolet lights. To sum it up there are two teams; Red and Green, and you can have up to 6 people a side. The idea of the game is to shoot your opponents laser pack and infiltrate their base by shooting different targets. You get half an hour in the zone and they calculate each teams scores so you can find out whom the superior team are! They also give you a scorecard with stats of your performance. Usually I perform badly, but that doesn’t stop me having fun!
Quasar is a fantastic way to have fun. Even if you’re terrible at the game you will still enjoy it. The Barry Island Quasar offers group bookings from just £4 per person. I would go now if I could! So go and look cool and shoot some of those lasers

Absolutely fantastic for kids and adults! This laser shooting game is so much fun.
My children have had birthday parties there and now both are members. The staff are brilliant and it really is value for money.
There are 3 packages of birthday parties to choose from and i thoroughly recommend the £11 a head one — yes, its the most expensive but it is worth it!
Members in Quasar club are aged from 9 – 11 years and can play from 10 – 2 for just a fiver on a weekend. They can also buy chips for a £1.
They have a fantastic time!
I’ve played a game there too and it is a great laugh. I’ve still a long way to go before I am ‘top gun’ though!
