In a town like Barry a shop like Wilkinson’s is a godsend because I’m 90% sure it sells absolutely everything.
Need an envelope? Yeah Wilkinson’s has it.
Run out of Jean Paul Gaultier Classique? Oh they sell it at less than £30 a bottle.
Need emergency gardening gloves? Wilki… oh you get the point.
Up until last year I was a Wilkinson’s virgin, I lived a life of blissful ignorance, oblivious to the bargains that I was letting pass me by.
When I moved last year my mum suggested I take a wander down to the high street and familiarize myself with my surroundings. That’s where I stumbled into Wilkinson’s and had a small panic attack (the good kind) when I saw gradual fake tan on a two for one offer. I was hooked, I’ve always been partial to a bargain, but finding absolutely everything a human could possibly want/​need/​think they need (delete as appropriate) under one roof has revolutionized the way I buy face wipes.

This is a great Wilkinsons store. They sell all kinds of household and garden items including cleaning materials, furnishings, plants and garden furniture. The variety within each range may be limited, but the prices are always very keen. It is in the centre of Barry so is easy to get to by bus. There is free long term parking within a few hundred yards and short term on-​street parking available right outside, so is ideal for collecting heavy items.

A great cheap shop with everything you could need, I sometimes find it difficult to find certain things but there’s plently to look at until you find it. Located in the middle of town.

I am a big fan of Wilkinson as they sell everything you will need for your home. When you enter the shop there is double automated doors making it easy for you to enter the shop. This store is average sized it has everything that you will need to do diy in your home. In the shop there is also a selection of toys, pet foods, canvases and photo frames, bedding and lots more. At the back of the shop they normally have some garden furniture set up. You can also pick up your wilkinson plus catalogue from here. I always find that the shop has lots of bargains and does great sales. I have never had to queue for long in here as there is normally lots of staff on.
