Grand Central Bar and Grill

Had a fantastic time at this time at this place.
Was greeted by some of the most friendly people ever, and I know that seems a tad dramatic but it’s true all the staff are so nice.
As soon as we was seated the lovely waitress was over with the menus and chatting to us, even though it was busy, it just made it much more friendly and welcoming. The drinks and appetiser came abruptly, and was so delicious, we shared the super bowl, everything was cooked well and the chicken wings was heavenly.
The mains was amazing as well all looked amazing, and tasted as good as they looked.
The meal was only ruined by the guy who was behind us running his mouth about everything, however the manager handled this with the up most courtesy, and the situation was resolved.
All in all the place is brilliant, the atmosphere is amazing and the staff are so friendly and the food well that speaks for itself

I went into Grand Central on a whim, searching for a drink and a snack while in a bad mood and I left happy! That is testament to the ever so friendly and attentive staff, who really did look after me even though I didn’t spend very much money at all. GC is a restaurant with an American New York deli-​style feel, somewhat in the mould of an upmarket TGI’s. I had a milkshake and some fries, and while the shake was delicious, the fries were pretty disappointing. You know the kind when you read fries you expect some lovely mellow yellow shoestrings but instead get some overcooked freezer chips. Based on the experience, I’d definitely go back to explore some of the more interesting items on the menu, such as the swordfish, but this is mainly due to the excellence of the service and the fact this is an independent local business standing out in a sea of chain restaurants.

I don’t mind the Outback but the food, whilst very nice, is not very original and pricey. The staff are friendly but there’s truly Australian about the place.

I like it, but ain’t cheap. Don’t order garlic bread. The Black things that arrive on ur plate are a soya loaf or some shite. Stick with steak!

I really like the Outback Steakhouse. The reason I do not go more often is that I do not think it offers very good value for money. And I have never seen many promotions or offers or discount vouchers at all. Saying that, the food particularly the burgers are really pretty good. Nice choice of extras in your burger if you like. I chose too many so the bun ended up falling apart under the sheer weight of what was inside but that was my own fault. Very good service too. The staff go out of their way to be friendly and earn their tip which is not true all the time elsewhere.

I’ve only been once and I won’t be going back — you can get similar food must better prepared and served at many other restaurants
