Lovely cold treat to enjoy while walking down the lively streets of Bath. My favorite ice cream flavor is mint chocolate chip and the Thayer edition was sweet and satisfying as it should be! They have a wide variety of original and new flavors, but I always find myself sticking to mint choc!

My mum loves ice cream. I’m really looking forward to taking her to Italy at the end of this month and seeing her face of delight when she sees all the gelato.
Couple this with the first sunny weekend in England since my parents arrived in the UK on holiday and I knew that I had to get her an ice cream.
We eschewed Ben and Jerrys and went in search of some more local fare. David Thayer source their ice cream from 3 local businesses, the furthest away being an hour’s drive. It’s always nice to support the local economy.
Between us, we tried 6 flavours. Mum and dad loved their chocolate brownie while my mango sorbet and lime cheesecake flavours were very distinctive and enjoyable.
Well worth a visit
