If you are ever in beautiful sweet Battle, go and check out this little shop. It’s on High Street, a few meters from the Abbey. I went past it several times and overlooked it because it seemed too crammed. However, once in I found it quite quirky. Not least because of its charming owner ready to give a helping hand and quite a few curios about Battle and its history. They sell all sorts of accessories, silver jewellery, clothes, decoration, gifts… Hence the name Enigma. I ended up buying a necklace I liked, for the price which was half of what I would have paid for it anywhere else. All in all, a pleasant shopping experience.
