I always come here when I’m at the belfast city airport. I always go for the ulster fry. The food is great and i always like staying in their table area until my flight is boarding. Overall: 5 stars from me!

Just wasn’t that impressed with the place. On going through security to the ‘airside’ of the airport this place is pretty much the main choice. There is an O’Brien’s but it’s mainly just sandwiches, there’s a bar that does hot food but it was quite small and seem to fill quite easily. There is a Lavazza coffee shop, but apart from good coffee the food options are more limited. So the Harvest Market would appear to be the one that tries to offer a bit of everything. It is certainly the biggest and offers both the majority of seating in departures and one of the better views of the apron, let’s face it, that’s the best place to be in an airport, watching the planes. Unfortunately despite being there in the middle of the day the food range looked largely like the place was about to close, not much choice and as if a lot of the choices had been sitting out for some time. Also despite some posters with specials advertised there was little trace of the real thing. Some of the staff were not that attentive either, despite queuing for some time myself and other customers stood just feet away from 3 staff members tinkering with an oven in no particular rush, who upon completion split in different directions and ignored us. If it hadn’t been for the girl on the till I don’t know how long it would have taken. Once ordered the food had to be brought to the table and everything arrived in drips and drabs, so most of us were finished one part of lunch before the rest arrived. This place has the best seats and the best views out over the apron going for it, but sadly not much else, there is a lot of potential going to waste here sadly.
