I used to work in a shop similar to this, though this one is independent and the one I worked in was a chain. Small Christian book shops are generally really friendly, and this is no exception. They are clean and well arranged, and sell pretty much everything you need for Christian books, gifts, Sunday School materials, etc.
They are not actually a charity run shop, as far as I am aware. I do know that staff are paid, not volunteer, so I would assume that means it’s a proper business not a charity.
Also, Why should they sell non religious items if they are specifically a Christian shop? I’m not sure why that should bother people. If you want non religious books, go to a non religious book shop.

The Christian Book Store is really sweet. It has a décor that reminds me of Famous Five novels, although I’m really not sure why.
This charity establishment has shelves and shelves of bliblical classics and some more obscure publications. It offers a wide range of audio-​visual materials, gifts, stationary, music and bibles as well as books. I hear these places provide local churches with their reading-​matter which I’m sure is particularly useful.
I guess my only qualm is that the Christian Book Store doesn’t offer any non-​religious publications. Although, it’s still a really handy shop for local organisations and church-​goers.
