Description

Specialties

Bringing the flavour of South America to Birmingham!

Using our influences from Mexico, Brazil, Peru, Chile, Columbia and Cuba to bring tasty, authentic laid back food washed down with well matched drinks and sides.

Our cocktails are hand crafted and made with quality spirits, fresh ingredients and come with plenty of kick! We also have a fridge full of South American beers, refreshing soft options and our wine list is hand picked to compliment the spice and flavour of our dishes.

Open for lunch, dinner, drinks and on Sunday we have a range of roast dinners available using meat we have marinaded in our blend of herbs and spices then slowly roasted!

Thursday and Friday night we open our basement bar — Sugarloaf, with its own cocktail menu from the classic to the more creative. Look out for Lucha Libre — our bi-monthly DJ night with classic tunes and drinks offers.

Booking for the restaurant is advised, take away available.

History

Established in 2010.

We are the sister venue of Birmingham’s Bitters n’ Twisted who own The Victoria, Island and Jekyll & Hyde. Since we opened in September 2010 we have welcomed sister venues The Rose Villa Tavern and The New Inn.

Back in 2010 we spotted a gap in the busy Birmingham food scene — South American street food. We found a great venue, put together a talented team and the rest is history!
