The source of many a cheap holiday, Co-​Op Travel is the place I head if I can’t be faffed looking on the Internet for a cheap deal. Staffed by incredibly helpful staff it has the usual array of brochures — both for holidays in this country and abroad. City breaks and cruises abound but they are also really good at finding decent flights at a good price and seem to have an extensive knowledge of which hotels are nice. On a couple of occasions they have matched prices I’ve found on the Internet but suggested a better place to stay for a simallar price. They also offer a good exchange rate at the in-​shop bureau de change.
