Formats are specialist coin dealers based with Burlington Court.
It’s great having a specialist like these within our city. I visited Formats yesterday to enquire about a collection of old coins we had in the family, to see what they were worth. The advisor was very knowledgeable and knows coins inside out. They were commemorative coins, but worth only 25p each, maybe I’ll wait a few millenia before selling off the family silver. (haha, he actually fetched a big box, housing his own collection, and asked me if I wanted to buy any off him.)
They have over 30 years of experience and also undertake probate valuations, if you need this service.
There are a lot of stairs to get to their outlet, so be prepared to give your legs some exercise. Anyway, where’s that metal detector…
