A nice little shop located under the Pallasades. They sell books and model cars, the range of these is huge! You can probably find something here that you won’t find elsewhere.
Prices are reasonable, and when you consider you can’t find a certain item elsewhere then its more than worth it.
The staff are very helpful and friendly too.

The Ian Allan bookshops are a mecca for transport enthusiasts and the Birmingham shop is no exception. Upstairs are books on road transport, aviation and shipping with all the railway stuff downstairs. There are also DVDs and models on sale. Always have a look in the window display first to see what’s new! The only bad thing is the steep narrow staircase down to the basement level. Prices are not always competitive with online sites but the range of stock is amazing (including foreign-​language material) and staff are always helpful.
