Really impressed with Meating. After going to the Unilocal event it was great to see the staff so enthusiastic and passionate about the food they served.
I had the porkies burger with fries and I loved it!
A big thing for me for me to love a burger is the pickes, cheese, mustard and salad. I don’t like eating a burger that is dry for it just being bread and meat. The components that make up the porkies burger includes bacon jam, baconaise, onion straws and gherkins, awesome :)

It’s a nice place with lovely décor, staff was welcoming and friendly. We got a chance to sample 3 different types of half burgers, and chips to go with but I didn’t enjoy the chips part as it was not pleasant at all, soggy, oily and tasteless chips. Some of the burgers tasted great though, really full of flavour, juicy and meaty. I particularly liked the sweet cherry red burger, which came out the winner in the end, no surprised there but well deserved from the winning team Meating restaurant. Overall it’s been a good night and thanks to Dan as always for hosting a great event!

Great little venue at the took floor of the Arcadian Birmingham. The venue is absolutely brand new a converted nightclub apparently. You would never know because it looks great inside.
Having had half a Burger here it was sweet juicy and very meaty. A perfect Burger. The hosts and the chef are all lovely and welcoming. Great hosts who are laid back and easy to talk too.
Haven’t had most of the food here but I’m looking forward to sampling more food here. I can’t wait!
