Ordered from here on just eat last night as it was one of those lazy Saturday nights in. The food was all well cooked and surprisingly good! I have had some very average experiences with just eat so have been sticking to deliveroo recently but it seems to have improved a fair bit. Sometimes when you are looking for a take away you don’t want something seriously unhealthy and as the chicken here is grilled not fried it makes a good alternative. I also found this place to be pretty good value at £20 for two people to eat with drinks and plenty of sides. If you are looking for a cheaper alternative to deliveroo download the just eat app and give this place a go :)

Place looks modern and it’s clean. Plenty of places to sit and eat. One of the cleanest shop in Ladypool Road. We thought might try it since looks really good. It’s like mix of McDonalds with Nandos. Got chicken burger, and you get to choose different sauce from mild, lemon and herb to super hot. Chicken fillet was tiny, the bun was bigger and first few bites you have are just the bun with sauce. Burger itself it’s just the bun, tiny piece of chicken fillet with little bit of lettuce. Dissapointing, looks nothing like the display pics. We ended up going somewhere else to eat, we didn’t finish our food.

Where shall I start, okay so I have been really curious to visit this place for a month now. Its new take away place. Today I had a chance to visit and try their food. First impression of the place, nice clean place, plenty of space for seating, family area & reserved tables are also available. This franchise has many branches in birmingham including many around the south. This particular branch in sparkhill is obviously going to attract the typical YOYOYOBS from the area. Staff is okay’ish. only one female worker on the counter, which I m not sure how long will they can keep up with a female behind the counter considering the area is quiet notorious in the evenings. Anyhow, I got my doubts cleared when a BRO walked in and starting chatting very loudly with him in a BROMANNER of speaking to the guy who was working in the kitchen. There you go… there goes the impression of the place down the drain. Lets talk about the food, The food looks really yummy and tasty on the brochures and the menu’s, firstly when you look at the prices you think, yeah okay, the place looks very good so the food prices must be justified. Bought the food for 4 people, paid £18. Got home really excited to try it… as soon I got my burger in my hand, I was like, «what is this? No there must be a mistake… this is not a lamb burger, but it looks tiny», I lost my apetite then and there… The burger is same size as Mcdonald’s Mayo Chicken which costs .99p compared to this tiny burger from PEPE’s which cost me £4.79 and no chips… okay lets try the wings… what is this… 5 wings for £4.79, piri piri chicken with rice again nearly £5 and their speciality the piri piri chicken, how can they even call this a PIRIPIRI chicken… it looks like boiled chicken with home made sauce dripped on the chicken and served… Its even worst than Mcdonald’s fake chicken… eeeh. :-( My overall review, don’t bother… its crap… just another fancy chicken & chippy with pricey menu to make people think, this must be the best HALALPIRIPIRI in the town… well sorry, you are no where even in the league table of PIRIPIRI chickens… So people. don’t waste your time and money at this flashy take away… simply put, its CRAP.
