Brought my granddaughter 1 here. Waited a while to get a table as place was packed. meanwhile I waited for drinks. A table was free so I ordered drinks when we sat down. Finally sat down and was served by a creative left handed friendly male. Food came in a spelled enamel ttttureen which reminded me of my early years. The bucket of bones was great after not been able to chew for a week. I bought hurricane cocktail cos I am sure there’s one on the way. The creamy mash was just like we have it in Irish restaurants. The sweet potato Chips were great with Jack Daniels sauce. Toilet floor was covered in paper but toilets were clean. Bill was reasonable. Music exciting. a lovely early week surprise

The food is certainly tasty enough — especially if you like spicy! Friendly enough service and food was served at a reasonable pace — no rush but not dawdling either, about right. Up early tomorrow so no late night I’m afraid! A little pricy I guess, but clean and cool!

Typical American fare. Tasty BBQ, good drinks. Standard chain restaurant. Was told could not wear my baseball cap in an American bar-style restaurant. Why the presence? I can wear my baseball cap in the American ones…

I love the food here, the jack Daniels chicken wings and fillet steak are amazing, it’s quite expensive though and the service is not the best hate to say it

TGF I wish it was bit surprised how busy it was as it was a Monday. For those ignorant of the brand it’s an American themed grill restaurant famous for its Jack Danuel Sauce. food was quite nice and service fine.

This place is dangerously close to home. No really, we just live round the corner. This place has all the amount of American cheese you could want in an eating establishment, of course the cult cinema posters and collectibles glued to the wall make a film fan like me right at home. The food is always pretty good, and can indulge in a number of delicious sauces. I usually go for the burgers. The Jack Daniels ribs are good too though… They have amazing cocktails too. A huge variety and special occasion ones to mix it up a bit(I was reading about their Halloween ones recently). It is a little on the pricier side sadly, so it’s a treat that we can manage not as often as we would like. The place itself is clean and although it can be really busy, weekdays in the afternoon it is so quiet it becomes a really useful place to have so close. If you are in the area and fancy a burger check them out.

Love TGI Fridays! Yes, it’s expensive. Yes, it’s cheesy. Yes, it’s alway rammed at the weekend. But we all still love it, right? Arriving we were greeted and seated in five minutes, not too bad for a weeknight… expect a longer wait at the weekend. Our waitress was nice and friendly. Didn’t pressure for a quick choice and wasn’t over the top(as most people expect TGI staff to be). Food was great, arrived quickly and tasted amazing. It is expensive at TGI Fridays. But I think generally you get what you pay for. The carpark is a little on the dark side, the spaces a bit narrower than the standard as well.

TGI Fridays, the place you can only go once you’ve been paid, of course on a Friday would be even better but don’t let the name only hold you to going there on a Friday :) I’ve been on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday etc etc; I think you get the picture. I’ve been there quite a lot! It’s usually always jam packed, everyone’s ready to eat and normally people order food they cannot finish because the minute you walk in you can smell the food cooking at the back of the restaurant. You can see the chef’s preparing the food as well, which is really good. I always find this refreshing because you feel part of the activities but that’s just me; some might not like that. The last time I went there, me and my boyfriend were enjoying some time together and after 7 years of dating we decided we’d pretend to go on a date, lol. After so many years, going out is no longer a date it’s just going out with your boyfriend. We were really hungry that day; we decided to share some wings and also have the Chicken Fajita Nachos for starters. For main course, we both ordered steak; my boyfriend decided to have the special 12oz steak! I thought I’d not go that far. Even though I was full I still decided to have a dessert because TGI has some of the best desserts, ever. They are wonderful! So, I ordered the Cookies & Cream– it’s incredible. Basically this dessert consists of Oreo cookies in soft vanilla flavour ice cream with ribbons of fudge and Oreo pieces, smothered in rich chocolate sauce; topped with a whip of cream and an Oreo cookie. It’s to die for and anyone with a sweet tooth should try this.

I have been to Thank God It’s Friday(TGI Fridays) on many occasions and each experience has been different but over all satisfying. I find that the best time to go to TGI Fridays on the Hagley Road is between the afternoon and evening. Or if you’re an early birdy, just before noon as this TGI Fridays’ franchise is one of two in the Birmingham area and is very popular amongst the public. I have experienced a TGI Fridays meal at all times and would suggest to go around the times recommended as you will get more of the TGI Fridays experience when the waiters and waitresses are focussing on your party. The staff members at TGI Fridays are extremely friendly and bubbly therefore this would be a shame to miss out on what TGI Fridays has to offer. The food and cocktails are exquisite and could not say anything negative about my usual order; a starter of Jack Daniels boneless chicken wings and the full rack of Jack Daniels ribs for my main meal. The music and atmosphere within TGI Fridays is always positive and refreshing. If you do choose to go during busy hours then this is a great aspect of TGI Fridays as parties can wait up to 20 minutes for a table and another 30 – 40 minutes for their meals to arrive. Who doesn’t like listening to old school American tunes and Michael Jackson? I know I do.

One of the few places I would prefer to go to on an evening where it is packed. The atmosphere with in the restaurant is much better when full, even if you’re encouraged to take a seat at the bar and try one of their many cocktails, or if you’re like me, settle for a beer. The service is top notch, with a constant stream of waiters/waitresses around the place, always willing to help. In terms of food, the quality has always been superb, personifying the relaxed environment with their burgers, ribs and excellent fries. Consistently great food alongside a warm welcome every time I’ve been, I would definitely recommend visiting TGI Fridays, particularly Birmingham’s very own on the Hagley Road.
