The Crown at Shard End

Formerly known as The British Legion and now know as The Crown, this social club acts as a function room and local pub to many.
I experienced it as a function room and was impressed with the vast amount of people it can hold.
The club doesn’t seem too appealing as a local pub for a man my age but I was assured that this location caters for all ages. There is a predominant attendance of middle aged men who like to regularly enjoy the refreshments of the bar.
The staff were friendly and there is a secure feeling at the partys’ here as there is sufficient security and staff downstairs making sure those invited are attending.
