We had bought a second-​hand sofa from eBay and the cushions were so worn down that it was no longer comfortable to sit down.
I had a brain-​storm of having the cushions re-​filled with new foam, so it was just a matter of finding somewhere that specialised in foam.
We gave J&A a bell, they told us to bring one of the cushions down, which we did. They measured the old cushion and then gave us the option of two different kinds of foam-​filling, we opted for the more expensive as it would last a lot longer.
We returned in an hour and the new foam was ready and cut perfectly well. They had already fitted the filling into the cushion cover and gave us the other to fit into the one at home. The price was very reasonable, £38 for both cushions and the sofa was great to sit on at last.
I would definitely recommend re-​filling if you’re beginning to slouch in your sofa.
