Had lunch here in October 2015 during a trip to Blackpool Pleasure Beach, and was really unimpressed. We ordered a chicken fajita and a chilli baked potato, and were told that the potato would take 25 minutes, so the server advised we order some nachos as a starter. 10 minutes later, all the food arrived at once so there was absolutely no need to have ordered the nachos — it did feel a little like someone trying to cajole you into buying more than you wanted a little too openly… The food itself was also not great. My fajita was essentially a packet wrap, filled with not much filling and far too much sweet, bland salsa, and with barely any spices at all. The wedges that came with it were clearly out of a standard oven-cook packet like you can buy in any supermarket, and the ‘nachos’ were just small, circular tortilla chips smothered in tasteless squeezy cheese(I’m partial to a helping of squeezy cheese now and then, but this stuff just tasted of goo with no flavour). The food was, however, quick, fairly cheap, and hot, and filled an empty stomach… So I suppose it served its purpose. And there are lots of interesting old photographs of the park throughout the last decade, so it’s worth popping inside — just maybe forgo the food and pass through as an interested visitor!
