The Railway Hotel

Having heard on the radio that this was the 7^th best pub in the country, I thought I would check it out to see just why. Well, blow me, its fantastic! The drinks prices are amazing and even the smoker’s hut outside is fully equipped with tvs and heating. There are tv screens on the bar and several scattered around for ease of sporting viewing. The variety of ciders (toffee apple) is outstanding and the staff so very very friendly. Tucked away in a back street this pub really is worth a visit. Drinks are also half price on Fridays, and when we were admiring the Stowford Press half pint glasses, the bar maid told us to take them on with us. If Carlsbery did pubs, this pub would probably be the best in the world!
