After a relaxing walk along the beach my friends and I ducked in for a quick drink before we headed home.
A real regulars pub with an actual regulars corner. Sit there at your own risk.
There were six ales on. 3 guest and 3 regulars. The fursty fox was a lovely session ale at 3.8% with a great ruby color and lovely fruity note on the finish. My wife had a tribute by st austell. Our other friends had wine.
A great choice of snacks to go with beer including proper black country pork scratchings.
Sadly we missed the food they stop serving after lunch at 2 until 530 in the evening. The menu looked lovely and the specials board had some crackers on it.

Great pub with extremely friedly owners that always seem to have the time to sit and natter away with the locals or new customers. I popped in on my own as I was passing through and was extremely hungry and they made me feel so welcome.
They have 6 real ales on tap in this establishment and pour a pint of Harveys that could rival any Lewes pub!
Food wise, I had a beautiful Sussex cheddar ploughmans that was not only huge but really tasty with plenty of fresh, crusty bread to go with it.
It was raining when I was there but the garden looked absolutely huge so we’re definitely going back when the weather gets better.
