We use this place primarily as a swimming pool; it’s OK. There are two pools there — a 25m one for more serious swimming and a shallow ‘training pool’ where kids can learn to swim. If you’re looking for a trendy place with flumes, slides and a wave machine, I’m afraid you’ll be disappointed — it’s a very traditional rectangular swimming pool! It’s not desperately expensive and the changing facilities are OK; perhaps the biggest drawback is that the water temperature isn’t always great (although the smaller pool is usually warmer). There’s lots else at the Leisure Centre besides the pool, but I’m afraid I can’t really comment on the other facilities as we’ve only been there to swim.
