Expensive and pretentious, city prices for a pint. We paid £3.05 for a pint of Black Sheep. Good selection of ales. The kind of place everyone dresses up to come to. Felt a bit out of place in jeans and a t-shirt.

This is a great lively pub, with many different faces. Currently my choice for lunch on a Friday. The food is good, costs around £7 for a main, and is served in a fantastic and interesting surrounding. Completely different from the lunchtime calm, Fridays and Saturdays are lively and(on the whole) friendly. The beer garden is large and has good heaters, and the variety of decoration creates various different moods inside — mirrors, traditional and leopard print are all catered for. Open until 1am on these nights. This pub could truly hold its own anywhere.
