How do you like your chicken? This place is for the chicken eaters amongst us, especially those who liek a little spice. On a serious note, they do cater for delicate pallates and vegetarians too. I’ve been to this branch of Nandos and always been pleased with the service and quality of the food I have. Parking immediately can be a challenge, as it is next to Castlepoint but I find it a good place to shop and eat before/during/after a shopping trip as the service is quite quick. I can particularly recommend the bottomless sorbet dessert, especially if you over did the piri-piri sauce.

We visited Nando’s recently, after not trying it for years, and noticed a stark difference in the quality and offerings compared to last time. This time the manu was very basic, not a lot on there at all really. We ordered and recieved our meals, but were really disappointed as we could proably have got more and better food from a roadside café. The chips were refried, the chicked was good, but was little of it in some of our meals. I seem to remember Nando’s being huge postions for great prices, and a real satisfaction after you’d visited, but this time all i experienced was poor food, poor staff and a real sense of nando’s going down hill

nandos is great, not only is the food delicious but it is also soo cheap. you have the ability to choose the spiciness of your chicken and are also presented with a range of unique side dishes like spicy rice, not available in many other fast food stores. The atmosphere is great and really unique! plus the fact you order the food yourself and pay upfront it saves any confusion over splitting the bill when out with friends. Soft drinks are refillable and you can do so yourself so no waiting around. I definitely recommend this to anyone who is feeling the pinch from the credit crunch but still wants to have a nice evening out

I experienced Nando’s about 8 yrs ago, and thought it was great back then. Visited Bournemouth Castle point recently and we ate at nandos there. Great Restaurant, clean, fresh and not too busy so service was good and frequent. Food arrived really quickly, and was very tasty, just as i remembered it before. Oarking was a little tight there, the car park directly outside is limited, otherwise use the large upper or lower deck car park and cross over.

Only when adding this review did I learn that Nandos is in fact known fully as Nandos Chickenland! GOod tto know! This branch is at the entrance to the Castlepoint shopping area so it does get a fair amount of passing trade so whenever I have been there it doesn’t have the eerie silence that can happen in some places if eating outside of the primetime! It has everything that one would expect from any Nandos(Lots of chicken and piri piri sauce for the uninitiated!) the service is speedy as every(Partly as you get to queue up to place your order! AND you get to fill and refill your own drinks!) Good value and rather tasty and looking at the rest of the Castlepoint shopping centre, possibly one of the only places that you would be able to get lunch so def a good thing that it’s there!
