Cinnamon Tree

Has the potential to be a perfectly good local restaurant. Unfortunately, the kitchen is utterly chaotic and the waiting times are off the scale, which is made worse by their wholly unapologetic approach.

The Cinnamon Tree has been a superb local find and pretty much our only choice now for Indian food near Bracknell. A cut above the rest.
We’ve eaten here several times over the past two years. Eating there from the menu has been delicious each time. They have all the basic choices of course, but also quite a few more unusual options.
Parking is great, and the waiters are always cheery and extremely proficient. Good fun. Yes, décor is merely fine and fresh and clean, but a good atmosphere gets achieved somehow.
We also frequent their Sunday buffets and I’ve found them, every single time to be the best Indian buffet around here. Always neat and looked after, with a few extra options than many offer. Yes, it’s £9.95 a go, but well worth paying more than the buffets that are a just a couple of quid cheaper elsewhere.
Just the other weekend, we had the buffet. Delicious as always. The waiter was great with our 2-​year old, who shovelled down a plate full of korma sauce and rice. No attempt was made to charge our boy for his little portion.
If my wife liked Indian food as much as me, I’d be there twice a week. Once to enjoy their regular menu, and again to fatten myself on buffet Sundays.
The best in Bracknell.

Been here many times, it is one of the better places to eat in the vicinity of Bracknell where I work from time to time. Fairly standard indian restaurant set-​up (furnishing, décor, layout, style etc). Staff always friendly and welcoming, and always welcome us back. Food is usually well cooked, with a good choice of various southern and northern indian as well as bangladeshi dishes. The Murgh Achari is really well done compared to many others. The Shahjani Gusht is great if you like ginger. Fresh tasting flavours and spices make for an inviting meal. Occasionally we’ve had problems with orders when asking for a ‘hot’ version — usually it is ok, though there have been several occasions when it comes out fairly moderate/​mild, so make it extra clear when you specifiy details like this.
Go here if you want an easy, tasty and relaxed indian meal that isn’t your everyday ‘indian’ (i.e. boring tasteless bowls of heat and meat).

Excellent Indian cuisine in a cosy and inviting setting. The food is of a high standard with generous portions. Advanced booking is recommended due to the popularity of this restaurant.
