Priestwood Post Office

I walk 25 minutes to this post office instead of walking 15 minutes into town to use the miserable one there!
I use this one because the staff are absolutely superb. So friendly and helpful!
Yes, it’s in the back of a Co-​op store and has two windows approached by queuing up one aisle. Half the time, only one window is open and while the staff are truly exceptional, if there’s an ebayer getting umpteen parcels weighed up ahead of you, things can grind to a halt.
But the staff are the best around, and I will walk almost twice the distance to take my chances here, rather than face the grim, hot queues in town and the sour-​faced staff there.
Lovely service with a smile, but just watch you don’t turn up right after that ebayer!!!
Would give 5 stars if they always had both windows open.

This post office is in a small shop selling groceries and newspapers.
The post office is small and when you queue you queue into an aisle of the shop.
There is usually one person serving so the service is slow and you can be queuing for a long time.
Lots of older people use this one as it is local to the neighbourhood.

This is my local post office and its really small, but that is made up by the fact the people serving are really friendly. Its a haunt for pensioners, who I do feel for as they are standing, queueing for a long period of time. I use this Post Office as it is my local and I feel I should support it.
It has all my postage needs such as envelopes, pens, parcel stuff etc.
