History

Established in 2006.

I established the firm in 2006 following many years working at law firms in Bradford and Leeds where I was a señor partner.

The intention was to set up a specialist firm which sought to concentrate on providing high levels of service to clients who needed help and assistance with their personal injury claims whether those claims were for millions of pounds where the claimant had suffered severe personal injury or where the injuries were much less severe.

With in excess of 20 years experience of all types of personal injury claims suffered whilst at work or on the road the firm is able to handle any type of injury claim.

Business Owner

Simon Blakeley was articled as a trainee solicitor at the firm of Ralph C Yablon, Temple-​Milnes & Carr and spent almost 20 years at the firm specialising in litigation and particularly pesonal injury claims and continuing a family association with that firm of over 40 years.

Simon then moved to work for a firm in Leeds where he established and built a personal injury team handling many claims from scratch. He was then headhunted by another Leeds practice and asked to set up, again from scratch a new personal injury team.

Having built two departments from scratch he decided that it was time to build his own firm and Blakeley Solicitors was established in 2006.

Simon Blakeley has handled many large value injury claims during his career including a number where damages exceeded £1m. The largest claims to date settled for in excess of £3.65m
