Harrogate Road, Bradford BD100QE 1274618591 This is an old favourite of mine — have been going in here years as used to go in with my mum. Its a traditional type of pub where you can go for a laugh and a chat without being drowned out by the loud music. The locals are lovely and friendly and yes, it is all about the locals in this pub as it has its own cliché which can leave some feeling they have stumbled into werewolf in london type of place. But, if you stay and have a chat you are made very welcome. The interior is lovely and traditional if a bit tired in places, but it is always clean. The staff are friendly when you make the effort with them. The locals are mostly middle aged to elderly unless on a pub crawl and you get the youngsters in before going into town. You might get the odd hour at a weekend but it soon dies down.

Wow this place brings back memories, both good and bad, from the karaōke nights on a weekend when everybody had a good time and got involved in having a laugh, to the scantily dressed girls who tried it on with my bloke and the physical and verbal abuse I received. These were odd occasions though and not regular occasions. On average it was a pretty good night.
