I absolutely love these guys because if they werent here i wouldnt have my baby salem now. Salem has always been a very sickly cat and needs lots of medication now and then for his recurrent kidney trouble, but, thankfully this place is there because without it i wouldnt be able to afford to keep treating him and he wouldve had to have been put to sleep.
This is a free vets for people on certain benefits — they rely on your kind donations of money and food to keep going as they dont qualify for funding. They did at one time ask you to slip your donation into an envelope and post into the box but they werent getting many that way so now they ask you for it when you sign in — i think this ensures most people leave a bit of something. I would always make as much as i could afford and i always go with some cat food for them as i am so grateful to them.
The staff are very dedicated and friendly and explain everything to you. You are put at ease by their friendliness.
The place does get very busy so be prepared.
