Express Wardrobe

Disaster — keep away.
I had ordered IKEA wardrobes and after spending a couple of months doing endless DIY, I knew I would need help with these tall wardrobes given their weight and height and despite much reluctance, I was willing to pay. I trusted Google on this one, and although it threw up dozens of choices, I (foolishly?) decided to go with the one that came up first on Google results —

I should have noted the early signs — it took them significantly longer than 24hours to get back to me with a quote despite their claim otherwise. I had to email, call and fill their online form before they finally got back to me (only to NOT provide a quote, of course). But I was desperate to get the work done over a weekend and they seemed to be the only ones with weekend availability and thusly I made the foolish choice.
I wasted an entire day sitting at home on Saturday, waiting for these chaps. They first chose to delay their appointment a couple of hours on account of what they called ‘delays due to the previous job’. Then they claimed that they were somewhere in my area and looking for parking; they called back 15mins later to tell me that they were still driving around looking for parking — very suspicious tale, this, considering I hardly live in the heart of the city! And then another 15mins passed because I got suspicious and tried to call them back, only to find them rejecting my call. After several attempts of trying to call them and reaching their voicemail or having the call rejected outright and after waiting for another hour, I concluded that they had pulled a bloody trick on me.
A couple of days later, I got EMFlatpack guys to come in and fix everything up but I swore to tell all and sundry I could about what scamsters these guys at ExpressWardrobe are, so beware! I would certainly not trust them with 35% of IKEA furniture costs at any rate — they apparently provide services of shopping at IKEA and delivering, I wouldn’t want to risk the upfront costs, thank you very much!
I wish there was a zero star or negative stars for such services!
