I have always wanted to work from home and enjoy working with figures. Because every self employed person is obliged by law to keep records and complete a self assessment tax return, there is always a demand for bookkeepers, so I enrolled on an on line bookkeeping course. I qualified last October [2012] so I set up my business. I advertised locally and visited every accountant in Bridgwater, so they knew I was available if they needed any bookkeeping work carried out. I have also obtained clients through network groups especially the 4networking group, of which there are branches nationwide.

Hello, I’m Caz Jenkins, and I live in Bridgwater, in Somerset.

I am a Christian, and love God. Although I tell people I’m a Christian and answer any questions people may have about my faith, I never bible bash but respect peoples’ views.

I am a Salvation Army Soldier, at Bridgwater Corps. I’m involved with Messy church [where families can come and do crafts, play games, have a meal and listen to a bible story together. Everyone has such fun and we all get along really well together. I also help on the fire van. If there is a major fire the firemen wouldn’t eat for hours so we feed them burgers, hot dogs and other things which cook quickly.

My hobbies are: sailing, skiiing, snowboarding, gardening, drinking coffee and eating. I enjoy travelling and seeing different places, provided it’s scenic places such as the Alps and the Isle of Skye.

I love meeting and getting to know people. I think of everyone as pieces of a vast jigsaw. Everyone fits in somewhere.
