Solid food and personable staff. They have coors light of all things. Enjoyable evening with Johnny Cash in the music mix. Lively place for a night with friends. Loved the sea bass special.

Quite nice atmosphere, opens late with live music. Food OK but expensive, main issue is service is always very slow. They seem surprised when they get busy!

My partner and I have visited here a few times in the past, however our last visit was not particularly great.
We visited the first week in December and were very unimpressed with the food. When you are spending £13-£15 on a meal you don’t expect frozen roast potatoes that are still frozen in the middle!
They had a large party also dining and thus the service we received was very limited and poor.
I have always really enjoyed the atmosphere and food at Beach and Barnicott, unfortunately our last visit was not reflective of this. With lots of other good restaurants in the area with great customer service and food I am surprised that our last visit to the Beach and Barnicott was so poor.
