David Clulow Opticians Brighton is a one stop for your eyecare and eyewear needs.

We provide a full optometric service with sight tests and contact lens fitting available on most days. Our sight tests include a digital photograph of the back of the eye to provide a visual image of your eye’s health at the time of the examination and take 20 – 40 minutes.

We sell most major brands of contact lenses.

We have a large range of quality spectacles and sunglasses for the latest look and stock the following designer brands:

Rayban, Oakley, Chanel, Prada, Bvlgari, Paul Smith, Oliver Peoples, Tom Ford, Police, Mykita, Face a Face, Lindberg, Jai Kudo, Tom Davies and Pro Design.

We feel that choosing spectacles is an art and welcome enquires about what spectacles suit someone the best. We can also offer a bespoke frame design service along with the designer Tom Davies.

We have an onsite lab for cutting lenses and some spectacles can be made within an hour.

History

Established in 2007.

David Clulow Brighton is part of the David Clulow group that has many stores in central London specialising in fashion eyewear and contact lenses.

My name is James and I am the owner of David Clulow Brighton. Having worked for the company for 8 years I wanted to open my own David Clulow and provide eyecare and eye fashion in my own unique way. I felt that Brighton was the perfect place to open my store with its diverse and interesting population well known for its love of fashion and design.

I opened the doors on 13^th Jan 2007 and have enjoyed every day so far working in Brighton’s lanes. I have been lucky enough to have kept hold of some of the same staff through this time. We are a close group and work well together.

I pride myself and my staff on our customer service and we always hope to exceed our customers expectations and it is with that in mind that I want to continue to grow my business and its reputation.

Business Owner

My name is James and I have been an optometrist since since 1994. Before I opened David Clulow Brighton I had mainly worked in central London and its suburbs as an optometrist and store manager. My job doesn’t just involve being an optometrist as I am also responsible for the cutting and fitting of the spectacles along with working on the shop floor.

I enjoy working and interacting with people and I have a good relationship with my clients and still have some that travel from London and beyond to see me.

I pride myself on my service and my attention to detail and I try to oversee all the sales that occur in my shop. I am always trying to improve what we do here as I feel that we should always be evovling.
