Although this is a little further outside of the city centre, it is definitely worth a mention for having some of the most innovative contemporary furniture designs I think I’ve ever seen. I came to the workshop with a friend who was looking for something unique (and has money to burn).
They’ve got an impressive list of commissions from Marks and Spencers to theatre halls but it’s their domestic designs that really impress. Stunning, sleek and imposing designs in gorgeous woods like ash, walnut and oak can’t be ignored, a lot of love has been put into very high finishes. They’ll even customise garden houses and make boats out of sofas. Intrigued? Go and see for yourself.
