Set up and run by local artists on a co-operative basis, this a great place to have a snack or just a drink and look at some of the artists work on display and, if taken with it, buy it. Situated in a nice loation in the centre of a picturesque and lovely village, the café has something of the charm and flavour of an old Enlish rea shop. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and, I must admit, as well as having my favourite snack here — a toasted teacake, I love to get involved in a conversation with them and other customers on art.

A café run by artists. It’s a simple idea. Have a place where you can view others’ paintings, or read their poetry, or look at their designs, while enjoying a good cup of coffee. It’s such a relaxing atmosphere inside. You’re free to browse around and see the works that are out on display. I was told that sometimes the artists of these pieces visit, and you’ll will be able to discuss their work with them. The Open Art gallery Café allows local artists(and aspiring artists) a venue to discuss works, exchange ideas, or to just participate in good discussions. They also offer workshops, and they sell gifts and some of the artwork at an affordable price.
