Specialties
A hub of music both vocally and physically, the space itself flows over two floors and out on to the terrace. Simply defined as Up, Down and Out, the 3 spaces combine as the backdrop for drinking, eating and dancing 7 days a week. Installed by Penguin Media Solutions, a hand built DJ booth designed by Bad Habits and powered by a bespoke Ohm PA is the epicentre of the ground floor space. A hangout where you can listen-in to classic sounds, knocking back cocktails & craft beers.
Keeping the basement as a heads down club space designed purely for dancing in the dark, it’s our mission to ensure the sonic experience of the club is second to none. Having tested two of the world’s leading systems head-to-head in the space, we opted for an L’Acoustics sound system that is simply impeccable and a key component for not only live and DJ led acts, but for the experience of the clubbers. Add to this world class DJs and bands, some returning favourites and our lauded household of much loved local residents, and you have a winsome recipe.
Built for sunshine and sipping, the terrace is open all year round, with a tasty offering of burgers to get your mitts on alongside our extensive drinks menu. Working with collaborators, music promoters and artists on a national & local scale, across several disciplines, Patterns will pioneer an imaginative & forward-thinking programme of events for the South.
History
Established in 2015.
Patterns stands on the humble grounds of it’s predecessors Audio and The Escape.
