A lovely and bright pub with a good mix of old & new styles. I love the big windows that look out onto the marina. There is a nice seating area outside which I’m sure will be packed in the summer, unfortunately when I visited it was raining so I couldn’t make use of it. I came in for a mid morning breakfast and enjoyed a delicious Eggs Royale(2 poached eggs with smoked salmon & hollandaise sauce over a split muffin) with a juice for only £4.79. The price is cheap but the quality is good. Very quick & friendly service. Hopefully when I return the sun will be shining & I can sit outside on the terrace.

We like going here for breakfast and drinks. The view across the Marina was amazing but the construction is at full swing at the moment so we had the pleasure of seeing a big truck while we were eating. I’m hoping that extra area outside is their property! So you have your standard Wetherspoons food and drink menu here and the promotional drinks from across the world available. It surprises me everytime I see wine on tap, I think it’s fantastic! It’s clean, airy and plenty of seats in and outdoors. I love the décor, working fireplaces and rustic tables and chairs throughout. Not a lot of old men queueing outside for an early pint. The Marina is too posh for that. This is no ordinary Wetherspoons. Shame about the view at the moment though.

Wetherspoons is one of my favorite pubs, and it’s one of the most simple. Walk in, seat yourself, look at the menu, and find out which bottle of wine you want. The prices are some of the cheapest I have ever encountered. Seeing as how the cheapest bottle of wine was £6.99, that tended to be the thing that was most ordered by me and my colleagues. It’s also in such a grand location; you can simply walk along the Marina and stare at the boats while you try to combat your drunkenness.

One of my favourite Wetherspoons by far as it doesn’t feel cheap and tacky. It has the feel of an old pub and with the marina literally out the door it offers something for everyone. Inside the food and drink are literally at rock bottom prices as you come to expect but because of the environment they some how taste better than your normal standard Wetherspoon. I am sure ambience is a factor when it comes to opinions of food and drink! The marina has much to offer and this should be your pit stop or your first port of call before a big night out.

This Wetherspoons, is unsurprisingly like all other Wetherspoons in most ways; Cheap beer, Edible and quite tasty, but not quality food, and not a hint of a roaring open fire or a local with his dog. But… and the big but in my book(because you gotta make a big deal out of the few differences you find in these places) is that it’s next to the sea, and therefore you can sit outside on a nice summer day and although it’s the harbour, you have a raised platform, so you can enjoy the feel of the Sea.
