History

Established in 2008.

Clifton Wine School is a local, independent wine education company, based in Bristol, specialising in hosting wine tastings and wine courses in the city centre.

Our tastings are perfect for everybody from the complete beginner– with no previous experience, to the budding enthusiast. The emphasis on all our events is having fun & learning a little more about wine — by tasting.

Bristol’s independent Wine School is owned & run by Ruth Wiles, a WSET Diploma-​qualified wine professional.

Our wine courses and wine tastings focus on learning about wine in a relaxed, informal environment. We are NOT affiliated to any wine merchants or retailers, and we don’t sell wine — so can show you the best new & exciting wines available from your local wine merchants & retailers.

We also organise Corporate Wine Events & Private Wine Tastings across the Bristol, Somerset and South Gloucester region.
