I can’t say I’d recommend them to anyone.
First of all, we had an urgent query for business cards. I order with them through the phone, telling them how we want the card to look like, which I clearly stated «matt cardboard, not shiny». They clearly misunderstood me, and so they sent the quote/​confirmation with «silk paper, matt laminated». I don’t work in the print industry, therefore do not know what they call it. Apparently, what I wanted was «uncoated», no laminated nor silk paper. Surely I was hoping they would understand what their customer wants, and seeing as they are the expert, they should know more than anyone what things are called. Silk paper matt laminated is nothing similar to «matt cardboard style» as the silky matt laminated is actually shiny, when you hold the card it leaves finger prints all over it. Terrible.
Second of all, after we have received the cards, not only we were disappointing that it was not what we wanted, but it was also a bad quality print batch. One day before the expected delivery date, I received a call from them saying there might be a problem. Although they do deliver all of the cards on time, but because it was useless, we missed out the opportunity to use it for our important event, which was the whole point of having our business cards made urgently. So not only the cards arrived not what we expected due to wrong material/​finish, but also the foiling was terribly done. It rubs on your finger when you hold it (so you have glittery fingers — cheap stuff they use), but also it smudges everywhere on the writing. Some bits of foil are missing on the logo/company’s name (which they blame it on our design, saying it is too thin but we don’t seem to have any problem with a new supplier that we go for).
The pain doesn’t stop there.
When I contacted them, the refuse to do anything about it and keep blaming it on our end. By this time, we have paid them already so obviously they’d refuse to refund. They offer to reprint it, but basically charge us some more. They say they’d offer 30% discount, but it still works out more expensive than other quotes we have received from other suppliers. All they keep doing is trying to sell us some more stuff, saying «in the long run of doing business with them, we would save 70%». Who on earth would want to do anymore business with them after this painful experience? So now we have £600 worth of business cards going in the bin.
After almost a month of unhelpful staff (which I think is a family who runs it, as I only speak to Ruth who took my order and Ed, the «negotiator») and unresolved problems, I give up. They are unprofessional, unreasonable and unreliable. I would highly recommend anyone who is thinking about doing business with them, stay away!

Well… I had a recent print job with JamJar, which for one reason and another I didn’t get on time (there’s really no point in going into the details but in essence it came down to a mis-​communication).
While I believe they are a good printers and will give you something that looks and feels like it has been professionally printed, the level of service that I received just was not good enough. Bad communication. Bad service. Good printing. I’m trying to stay as impartial as possible so I’ll leave it down to you to make your own judgement.
