Although Key Lettings offer a fairly diverse range of properties to rent, I found them to be inflexible and rigid in their dealings with myself and a friend. Looking to move out of our last abode a few months ago, we decided to drop them a line and see what they had to offer. Although my friend was in a stable job, I was temping at the time but had a pretty good credit rating and would have had no problems gaining references from past landlords and employers. However, on hearing my employment status, the letting agent I was speaking promptly informed me that Key Lettings wouldn’t be able to help us. And he wouldn’t even consider undergoing any extra procedures to check my reliability. Pretty degrading, really.
