History

Established in 2013.

Right at Home is an international home care franchise and was originally founded in the USA in 1995 and now has more than 350 branches around the world.

It commenced operations in the UK in 2010 and there are already more than 20 offices operating all led by carefully chosen individuals passionate about maintaining the company’s quality reputation and focusing on maintaining independence, choice and dignity for their clients.

Bristol established it’s office in September 2013 and started actively trading only once it received it’s CQC registration in November 2013.

Since registration it has implemented two additional elements to it’s already rigorous recruitment and quality assurance processes, by introducing psychometric testing for all new carer candidates, and employing an independent third-​party to perform regular quality assurance surveys with clients, their families and their carers.

Meet the Manager

Maggie O.

Manager

Maggie is Right at Home Bristol’s Registered Manager and has over 20 years experience in the home care sector in Bristol, with half of that time spent as a Registered Manager.

Maggie joined Right at Home Bristol because of the ethos of the business and the desire to provide quality care by quality carers who also strive to assist clients in maintaining their independence.

She takes a hands on approach to all aspects of the role, whether this is providing care herself, assessing the needs of a client, or delivering training to staff.
