The Three Brooks

I’ve been here several times, either at lunchtime or on a Friday night.
I have to say it’s pretty poor. I know people who like it as a local boozer, and I guess for that reason it serves a purpose. But I would say it speaks more about the lack of places to go in Bradley Stoke then it does about the quality of the three brooks.
I feel like it’s a dime-​a-​dozen brewery run pub chain that’s completely devoid of any sense of individuality.
The several times I’ve eaten here have all been pretty poor. Either with my work colleague or my girlfriend who has a more rigid time scale for her 1 hour lunch break. I’ve struggled to get served to order food at a barely empty bar and when the food does (eventually) come out, it’s often almost too late to have time to eat it and quite frankly it’s never been particularly worth eating.

The pub is lovely. The drinks are inexpensive and the environment is great. The staff is very friendly and helpful so they make you think you’ll have a good time there.
The food is BAD. Very very bad. It lacks the basics like salt and pepper.
They have the 2 for 1 deals which seems quite inviting.
I’ve ordered a simple steak, that’s all I wanted. Asked for a medium and it came soooooo overly done I couldn’t believe. It wasn’t just a well done steak, it was rubber. Disgusting.
Obviously I sent it back and asked for another medium one. This time they got the right temperature however the steak was so blend. No salt and pepper whatsoever I could cry.
The peas were just as blend as the steak and the mushroom was inedible.
I’d definitely go back there for drinks but never again for food. If you can’t cook a steak then you might as well not serve food at all.

This is a strange pub that totally fails to serve the local community. It’s right in the middle of a totally family oriented housing area, but refuses to let children anywhere near it. We were really disappointed to be turned away when we took the family, and I’m sure lots of other people have found the same thing too.
It’s now on the edge of the new mini-​mall that’s been built around the Tesco Extra, and it doesn’t really fit, though it may be a good place for husbands to spend a quiet hour or two whilst the better halves are shopping! Parking is likely to be a problem in the run-​up to Christmas, as the pub’s car park is bound to be used by those who can’t find a space in the mall.

This is a very nice local pub at the moment, but I reckon that as soon as the new Tesco superstore opens right next door (October 2008) then this pub is going to go downhill quickly as it is inundated with shoppers. So go there soon before it’s too late.
Decent food (a little bit overpriced but nice variety on the menu), a good range of beers included guest real ales, and a cosy atmosphere. Nice.

This is a lovely little pub in Bradley Stoke which serves good food. They have a little beer garden. They serve a range of drinks and food. It is near Tescos, the Leisure Centre and the new shopping Centre that is being constructed at the moment. The only down side for some is that it is only for adults, no children allowed unless they are over 14 and eating a meal with a adult.
