Easily found on the main Whalley Road, this club is very close to my brother’s house in Simonstone and so we popped in for a couple of drinks on a Saturday evening to check the place out. No need for registration or an entry fee, we were pleasantly served by the girl behind the bar with a decent selection of real ales, namely Copper Dragon Scotts 1816, Tetley’s Cask and Challenger IPA. All were more than acceptable.
The club has all the facilities that you would expect from such an establishment, games room, sports TV, function area etc.
Going just by the beer and the friendly service that we received, I would certainly recommend a visit.
By the way, if you are on your way up to Whalley, the bus stop is conveniently right outside!
