I have to confess to not having eaten fish and chips from Cheung’s although I have had a few decent Chinese takeaways from here. The food isn’t the best Cantonese I’ve tasted, but then again, it’s not the worst. And of the two Chinese takeaways within easy walking distance of my home, this is my first choice. The prices are reasonable and the food is quite quick, considering it’s freshly cooked to order. It’s perhaps a little on the greasy side but a lot of Chinese food is and it’s a guilty pleasure for me on a weekend. Incidentally, they also offer a delivery service if you can’t be bothered going to pick your food up.
