Newtons of Bury really does have some exquisite furniture on offer. It is a world away from the plain bedroom for under £100 that Ikea does. This is furniture, lighting and extras that are meant to last, that are meant for a home not some rented box room that will do for now. There are three floors here of all kinds of home furnishings — we got a mirror from here and it has stood the test of time. Very good quality and it seems to be sensibly priced. They often have sales and, as with most furniture stores these days, you may be able to get a small discount especially if there is any slight damage to the pieces. Newtons also have an online shop with free delivery but, with furniture, I would recommend going to have a look at the actual pieces as it is easier, of course, to visualise how it would look in the planned room. Newtons was established way back in 1900 and I hope it continues for another hundred years; it has moved with the times and provides modern pieces as well as more traditional sets. Heaven for interiors junkies.
